Filosoof René ten Bos: “Als je je onttrekt aan het systeem, er niet in mee kunt of er gewoon niet in past, wordt dat gezien als falen,  als mislukken. Dat is een heel verkeerde benadering. Ieder mens is bang om als mislukking gezien te worden. Daarom is er een angst om andere keuzes te maken, terwijl die je misschien veel meer brengen dan het volgen van de uitgestippelde lijntjes.”

how do you manage to wander and get lost in an over-organized world? Philosopher René ten Bos: “If you withdraw from the system, cannot fit in or simply do not fit in, that is seen as failure. That is a very wrong approach. Everyone is afraid of being seen as a failure. That is why there is a fear of making different choices, when they may bring you much more than following the drawn lines.”
